Here it is! After a hard days work, I have finished the red, white, and blue quilt I've been working on. I designed the pattern myself with inspiration from this quilt by Oh Fransson! and am really happy with the way it turned out. It only took two charm packs, plus a little yardage from The Hamptons line for Moda fabrics. The finished size is 60" x 60".
I hope to have time later this week to quilt it. The plan at the moment is to straight-line quilt it, 1/2 inch apart on the diagonal following the lines of the half-square triangles. I can't wait to see it after it's quilted! What do you think?
